WHY YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK
Honest & Transparent Testimony
I do not have an image to try to uphold. Therefore, readers will get an honest and transparent look inside my journey. From the questions I’ve asked over the years to my moment of wanting to try a different religion to me no longer believing in some of the things I’ve been taught throughout my journey with God. You as the reader will see a realistic journey that so many would be afraid to be open about.
Inspires You To Accept Your Journey
Because my book is honest and transparent, it inspires readers to embrace their own journey with God no matter what it currently look like. It inspires you to trust the process and increases your faith that your journey will lead you back or keep you moving forward in your relationship with God.
More Understanding About Salvation
Readers who are struggling in their walk with God or would like to be saved, but have a skewed view of salvation due to improper or manipulative teachings, will gain a better understanding of what being saved is and is not. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I, Shekenya Harris, am a 3x author. I grew up in a Pentecostal church where I first noticed strange things in the church as a child. I have always asked questions and always pondered mysteries, especially the mysteries of God and the Bible. Once I became an adult, I broke away from my childhood church and found myself at non-denominational and contemporary churches. While there were questions and experiences that were unfavorable with the church, my real journey hadn’t begun until there was no denying that I was prophetic. It was a time of confusion, consideration of another religion, and deeper questions that ultimately kept me rocking with God. Between the pages of my new book “I Found God When I Left Religion” I share my spiritual journey from childhood to now.
